What We Do

Social Events
Now that we are coming out of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are excited to get our social events such as broadway trips, yoga, therapeutic horseback riding, art classes, and concerts back on track. It’s time to foster new friendships, rebuild our community, and LIV IT UP!
Community Outreach
Our neurodiverse adults feel pride and accomplishment by giving back and supporting their local communities. LIV IT UP has volunteered with organizations such as the CT Beardsley Zoo, Ridgebury Farms and Stables, and the Town of Bridgeport Public School system.
Sensory Kits
We are all unique individuals in this world and we process sensory information differently. LIV IT UP recognizes this and has provided noise cancellation sensory headphones and fidget toys at Hartford Healthcare Amphitheater so that any individual can be better supported to enjoy live musical experiences.
Housing
LIV IT UP refers to not only living your best life through a variety of social experiences, but also learning life skills to help people live more independently. Early on, LIV IT UP recognized the need for housing with built-in support that would encourage independent living.
